The first Winter Walk took place in Boston in 2017. It's an event that brings together housed and unhoused individuals to walk side-by-side during the coldest month of the year, creating a united community committed to addressing homelessness. It's a day when everyone—regardless of where they sleep—comes together to raise awareness and demand change.
This year, Winter Walk is coming to Chicago for the first time. Join us on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 10 AM in Humboldt Park to walk in community with our unhoused neighbors to raise awareness and work toward an end to homelessness in Chicago.
