The first Winter Walk took place in Boston in 2017. It's an event that brings together housed and unhoused individuals to walk side-by-side during the coldest month of the year, creating a united community committed to addressing homelessness. It's a day when everyone—regardless of where they sleep—comes together to raise awareness and demand change.
This year, Winter Walk is coming to Chicago for the second year in a row. Join us to walk in community with our unhoused neighbors to raise awareness and work toward an end to homelessness in Chicago. Help us fundraise as we get closer to Winter Walk 2026!
