Renita White, AM LSW, comes to The Boulevard with more than thirty-five years of experience in senior and executive leadership. Throughout her career, she has led strategy, operations, and programming in major social service organizations in the city of Chicago. Deeply rooted in mission, Renita has focused on the delivery of high-quality programs across her career, leading many of them to national recognition. She has forged strong, effective partnerships with community providers and funders, bringing life-changing economic resources to at-risk populations. She has served on special task force committees and initiatives with All Chicago, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS), the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) and the Mission Sustainability Initiative (MSI) through Forefront.
Renita holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration in Public Policy and Administration, and is a licensed social worker. She also ensures agencies follow best practices through her service on the national Council of Accreditation, as well as supporting the development of social entrepreneurship projects as an ADESE Fellow.
