Upon arrival, Boulevard residents get access to programs and medical services which they could not obtain at a shelter.
The Boulevard is the only medical respite facility in Illinois, dedicated to serving homeless individuals. We pioneered the model of adapting medical respite for homelessness services, becoming the third such facility in the U.S. in 1994.

The Boulevard is an ADA-accessible residential facility accepting homeless adults who need time and a safe, clean place to complete their recovery from an acute medical condition. Individuals with an acute medical condition with a secondary mental illness or substance abuse history may be accepted.
